Who transcribes Polish content?
Polish broadcasters, podcasters, and video producers transcribe interviews and episodes for publishing and subtitling, while researchers and universities use transcripts for oral history and qualitative studies. Legal and business teams working with EU institutions and Polish-speaking diaspora media in Ireland, the UK, and the US also rely on Polish transcription.
Polish dialects and accents
Standard Polish is unusually uniform for a language of its size, so most recordings from Poland transcribe consistently. The main exceptions are Silesian and Kashubian speech, which differ enough from standard Polish that they are often treated as separate varieties, and diaspora speakers who mix in English or other loanwords.
Where Polish is spoken
Polish is spoken in Poland, Ukraine, and parts of Belarus, Lithuania, and Ireland.
