Sonix is SOC 2 Type 2 Compliant: What Does This Mean for Sonix and its Customers?

We’re excited to announce that we have received our SOC 2 Type 2 certification. It’s a big deal, but what does this mean for our customers? In this blog post, we’ll break down the key points of the report and explain what they mean for Sonix.

What is SOC 2 Type 2?

SOC 2 Type 2 is a report on the security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy of the customer’s information. It provides assurance that the company has the appropriate controls in place to protect the customer’s data and ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the systems and services provided.

What does this mean for Sonix?

Receiving our SOC 2 Type 2 certification means that we have been independently certified as having strong security controls in place. This certification gives our customers the peace of mind knowing that their data is safe with us. In addition, the report highlights several key areas where we excel in terms of security, including:

  • governance and risk management;
  • access control;
  • data security;
  • monitoring and reporting; and
  • incident response.

These are just a few of the many reasons why our customers can trust that their data is safe with us. At Sonix, security is always a top priority, and we will continue to invest in our security controls to ensure that our customers’ data is always protected.

Where can I read more about the systems and policies in place to protect user data?

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect information from our users, how we use that information, and how we disclose that information.
